The Department of Medicine, Akhtar Saeed Medical & Dental College Lahore was established in year 2008 at Akhtar Saeed Trust Hospital Lahore. DHA, EME Sector. OPD of Medicine unit-I is running successfully on alternate days a weeks and emergency services 24/7 hours. Hospital has well equipped intensive care unit (ICU) and HDU.

The department has facility of demonstration rooms for clinical teaching of student of 3^rd year, 4^th Year, 5^th Year MBBSand 3^rd Year DPT.

Student’s demonstration room is equipped with teaching aids like Dummies/Manikins, defibrillator, ECG machine, laryngo scope, endotrical tube and sangstaken tube Couch, White board and multimedia with adequate seating capacity. The department always has outstanding results with
distinctions and university positions in final professional exams of UHS. The Department is recognized by CPSP for post graduate training since 2016.
